Lace and embroidery

In June 2018, Märtha Jonsson opened her exhibition “Arsenic and old laces”.

The middle floor of the farm’s oldest house is filled with handicrafts from the 18th century to the 20th century. Embroidered sheets and pillowcases are combined with Venetian and English embroidery. Hardanger embellished curtains and coffee tablecloths with hole stitching. Vadstenaknyppling and Skåneknyppling. Crocheted and knitted tablecloths. Pearl embroidery and silver lace.
